This project involved the renovation, alteration and rear extension of a Grade II listed Georgian terrace property in the historic city of Bath. Working closely with the clients, we thoughtfully reconfigured the three-floor layout to better suit modern living while preserving the building’s historic charm.
The existing rear extension was replaced with a contemporary yet subtle design, optimizing the interior layout and improving functionality to subtly work with and compliment the original architecture. The new extension was carefully crafted to complement the existing building, enhancing the overall space while maintaining the property’s character. The result is a thoughtfully modernized home that respects its heritage, offering improved living spaces and use of the garden, all while preserving the historic integrity of this Georgian terrace.
